No lawyers were involved in writing this, and it shows. Using Life Pizza means you’re happy with what’s below.

What Life Pizza is

A free app for writing down what you’d like to do with your life, sorting it into slices, and ticking things off as you go.

It’s built and run by one person in Melbourne, Australia, for friends and family. It isn’t a company. There are no ads, nothing is for sale, and nobody is being sold anything.

You need to be 16 or over

If you’re younger than that, please don’t sign up. It isn’t built with kids in mind and I’m not set up to look after their data properly.

Your inbox is your account

There’s no password — you get a magic link by email and tapping it signs you in. That means anyone who can read your email can get into your Life Pizza, so keep the link to yourself and don’t forward it.

What you write stays yours

Your goals, habits and slice names belong to you. I don’t claim any ownership of them, and I won’t publish, sell or share them.

To actually run the app I need your permission to store what you write, show it back to you, and pass the text of your goals to an AI service that sorts them into slices and suggests ideas. That’s the whole of it — the Privacy Policy spells out exactly what gets sent where.

A few things not to do

Don’t use it for anything illegal or harmful. Don’t try to reach anyone else’s data or go poking at the app’s security. Don’t put other people’s private information into your goals. And please don’t script the AI buttons to fire over and over — every tap costs me real money.

The AI bits are guesses

Sorting your brain dump into slices, the idea suggestions, and the “Noticed” line on your analytics are all written by an AI model. It misreads things, invents the occasional odd category, and is sometimes just wrong.

Take it as a nudge, never as advice. It isn’t medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice, and it’s no substitute for talking to someone who actually knows.

No promises about it staying up

This is a spare-time project. There’s no uptime guarantee, no backups, and no support hours. Things may break, data may be lost, and one day I may switch it off for good.

If I do shut it down, I’ll email you first if I can. In the meantime, keep your own copy of anything you’d hate to lose.

Ending things

You can delete your account any time from the profile menu. It’s instant, and it’s permanent.

I can close an account that’s breaking these rules or causing harm to someone — though for anyone I know, which is everyone, that starts with an email rather than a delete button.

If something goes wrong

Because this is free and personal, I can’t take on liability for losses that come from using it, from it being down, or from it losing your data.

Australian Consumer Law gives you rights that no wording here can take away, and nothing above is trying to.

If this changes

I’ll update this page and change the date at the top. If something significant changes, I’ll email you rather than hoping you notice.

The legal bit

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any dispute belongs to the courts there. If one part of this turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
